52 Weeks of Goodwill – Week 28

I found my new favorite Goodwill store!  It’s the Goodwill Warehouse Outlet in Richmond on Midlothian Turnpike.  Unfortunately the most time I can get in there after work is about 30 minutes since they close at 6:00 pm.  When you’re digging through bins, 3o minutes goes really quick!  I think I’m going to have to make a Saturday trip.  At the outlet, most of the items are sold by the pound.

These two items came from the outlet store.  Total price was less than $2.00.   Yipes~stripes!

I know, who buys a winter scarf when it’s 90 degrees outside?  That would be me…an 80′s girl at heart…who never owned anything from Benetton…because everything was so expensive!  I loved their big, bold beautifully colored ads when I was a teenager.  Now I am the proud owner of my very own United Colors of Benetton scarf that looks like it’s been in someone’s closet since the 80′s. I swear it looks brand new!

The other item is a lonely single chair pad, brighly colored and reversible.  I had this tan colored chair with peeling paint needing some attention.  My husband sanded it down for me.

Two cans of spray paint later…

Flip side…

Every southern home needs a chair to match their crepe myrtles!
