Thanks for reading On The Banks Of Stony Creek.   I’ve been married for 18 years to Roger and we live in the very small town of Stony Creek, Virginia.  I work part-time outside the home as an LPN at a local community health center, and am currently enrolled full-time in the RN program at Southside Virginia Community College.  I love a bargain and try my best to save money every time I shop.  I enjoy helping others to live a rich life, frugally, because we all can use a little more change in our pockets! 

Many bloggers are in it for the money – specifically advertising revenue.  I hate reading blogs that are bogged down with advertising.  At On The Banks Of Stony Creek I’m keeping it simple.  You won’t see any advertising.  I’m blogging for enjoyment and to help others.  If I discuss a specific product, store, website, or deal it’s because I want to, not because I’m being paid to do so.  I’m an individual and this is just a personal weblog.  I do ask that if you use any information from my site, please give me credit.

Right now I’m very busy with school and work, but I’ll post when time permits!
