I headed back to Target and Rite-Aid for another round today.  I’m slowly getting my pantry restocked!  Here’s today’s Target trip…

Total including tax was $9.68.

At Rite-Aid I did the same deal twice.  (1) Benevia $7.99, (1) Dulcolax Balance $6.99, and (1) Cotton Rounds $2.15.  Used $3 off $15 Rite-Aid coupon, $5 off Benevia, $4 off Dulcolax in-ad Rite-Aid coupon, $3 off Dulcolax coupon on bottle neck, and $2 off any Rite-Aid beauty purchase.  Total was 33 cents for each transaction.  There is a Single Check Rebate for $7.99 on the Benevia and a $5.00 mail-in rebate on the Dulcolax, for a PROFIT of  $12.66 for each transaction.  I’ve already submitted from yesterday’s trip for myself.  I’ll submit one set of today’s for my Mom and the other for a friend. Love moneymaking shopping trips!

Here’s a nice deal at Rite-Aid!  Buy one 4-pack Benevia Nutritional Beverage for $7.99 and one Dulcolax Balance 4-ounce for $6.99.  Use the following coupons: $3 off $15 Rite-Aid purchase, $5.oo off Benevia printable, $4.oo off Dulcolax Balance from the Rite-Aid ad, and $3.00 off Dulcolax Balance on the bottle. Pay nothing AND earn $7.99 Single Check Rebate on the Benevia and $5.00 mail in rebate for the Dulcolax Balance.  Total profit is $12.99! I did that deal this evening and also had a $2.00 off $2.00 or more Rite-Aid beauty purchase coupon.  I found Revlon eyeshadow at 75% OFF so my total including tax came to 30 cents. Rite-Aid also just started a new round of Gift of Savings so my pre-coupon total applies to that as well.

At Dollar General, seven bags of treats for Emmett.  Retail price is $1.75 each.  Used seven FREE product coupons for a total of .61 for tax.

At Walgreens, the Almay Perfect Blend Foundation is also a moneymaker.  It’s ringing up for $8.49 and printing a $10 Register Reward.  Coffeemate creamer is on sale Buy 1 Get 1 Free at $2.49. There are $1.00 off coupons on the Coffeemate website, which brings the price down to .25 per bottle.  I needed a filler so I grabbed some mushrooms that are on sale 2 for $1.00.  I used two $5.00 Register Rewards and earned back a $10.00 Register Reward so my total including tax for everything pictured was 88 cents.

Friday evening I did a little bargain shopping at Target, Rite Aid, and Walgreens.  My scenarios didn’t work as well as I had hoped, but I did manage a few deals. 

At Target I was in search of Delmonte veggies, Heinz gravy, and Campbell’s mushroom soup.  I came out with just the veggies and all green beans at that.  The shelves had been wiped out.  The good thing is that they will be on sale again this week so hopefully I can cash in then.  12 cans of green beans on sale for .45 each.  There is a Target printable coupon for $1.00 off 6.  Total was $3.48 or .29 per can which is a good price.

Virginia is peanut country and so is Rite-Aid!  They had a great deal this week on Planters peanuts.  Unfortunately they only had 1 can of the honey roasted, which were the best deal, but I went ahead and bought the higher priced selections anyhow. 

14 assorted Planters peanuts (buy one get one free)  $32.11 minus $5.00 off $25.00 purchase coupon = $27.11 out of pocket will get (2) $5.00 Single Check rebates and (1) $10 mail-in “Keep The Jingle In Your Holiday” rebate.  Total after rebates = $7.11 or .50 per can.

At Walgreens I used a few of the “all profit” Register Rewards that I earned on the Contour Glucose Meters last week. I plan on returning the Robitussin as it didn’t print the $2.49 Register Reward that was advertised.

Made two quick stops this evening at CVS and Rite-Aid.  Rite-Aid has Herbal Essences Hair Products Buy 1 Get 1 FREE.  I also had a FREE product coupon from Facebook.  Out of pocket, just tax of 22 cents total for the shampoo and conditioner! Actually it’s a moneymaker since I’ll be getting $2.00 back on it from a Single Check Rebate offer!

No photo for CVS, but Pepsi products (12-pack cans) are on sale 4 for $10.  Used a $10 Extracare Bucks for an out of pocket of just 25 cents for tax! Really this sale doesn’t start until tomorrow, but on Saturdays, my local CVS runs both ads so I was able to pick it up today.  The manager gave me one of the Christmas gift guides which has a $4 off $20 coupon for my next purchase as well!

I finally went grocery shopping today which I haven’t done in weeks other than just picking up bread and milk.  My freezer and cupboards were a little light!  I shopped Food Lion and Save-A-Lot.  Save-A-Lot has a $5 off $20 purchase coupon on their website waiting for you for giving them your email address.  I stocked up on produce which is always a good deal at Save-A-Lot.  I had several FREE product coupons that I used including FREE eggs, Uncrustables, and Town House crackers.  I snagged some Progresso soups for just .50 each too!  Love coupons.

I haven’t had the chance to go bargain shopping the past few weeks but I ran by Walgreens this evening as I had several Register Rewards that were expiring today.   It was use them or lose them.  I also wanted to see if I could find some of the money-making glucose meters.  I was shocked to see 5 on the shelf, exactly the number of coupons I had! (Normally they go the first day of the sale.)  I stumbled onto some FREE juice and grabbed all the bottles they had.  We needed to replace two sets of Christmas lights for the tree this year and I also picked up some candycanes.  Here’s my trip…

Used $13 in Register Rewards and paid $9.16 out of pocket – earned $25 in Register Rewards!  Profit=$14.84  I’ll be taking the monitors to work to give out to diabetic patients.  Four came with a FREE A1C checker as well!

While in Walgreens my husband saw a sign for a FREE $25 gift certificate when you transfer a prescription from another pharmacy.  We were planning on going to Rite Aid to get my husband’s prescription filled, but instead we just had it transferred while we were shopping so that’s another $25! Woo-hoo!

The CVS I shopped yesterday was out of the Campbell’s Tomato Soup that was on sale so I stopped by a different store today.  I scored 8 cans on sale for .50 each.  I had 4 $1.00 off 2 coupons which makes for FREE soup!  I did have to pay the tax of 10 cents.  I earned a $1.00 ECB today with my Green Bag Tag as well.

I hit the three big drugstores this evening with coupons in hand.  First stop was CVS.

Next stop was Rite-Aid.  In today’s mail I received a $20 certificate for my “Fall Gift of Savings” so I went ahead and used it on a few more items for this month’s Single Check Rebate. I am well over $100 for the month in Single Check Rebates!  I plan on submitting it ASAP so I can have it back before Christmas.

Used (27) $1.00 off Dove coupons, $1.25 off 2 Quaker (only had one!), $1.50 off Vaseline, $13 in Register Rewards.  Paid $6.72 in cash and earned back $17 in Register Rewards ($5 for Quaker, $3 for Chapstick, (2) $1 for Halls and $7 for Vaseline)  Total spent works out to $2.72 for everything since I had a $4 increase in Register Rewards to use next week.

I also made a stop at Dollar General where the Kotex Long Liners are $1 for a 16-pack.  I’ve heard they are priced the same at Wal-Mart, but I DO NOT shop there.  I picked up 12 packs and used (6) $2.00 off 2 Kotex coupons for a total of .60 which is the tax.

My husband is so great.  He drives me around on my shopping escapades, holds my coupons, and carries the bags.  I treated him again to a FREE hot chocolate at 7-11.  I had the yummy Pumpkin Spice Latte.  The coupons expire tomorrow so that was probably our last night of FREE hot beverages from 7-11.
